Tier 2 of the Points-based System

Tier 2 Sponsor Licence
A sponsorship licence under the Points-based System must be held by any organisation wishing to sponsor a migrant under Tier 2 of the Points-based System. The licence allows the organisation to expand their workforce by recruiting non-EEA migrants and prevents the organisation from incurring heavy financial penalties for employing illegal migrants in the UK.

We are able to offer a comprehensive service whereby we help prepare and submit the application for a sponsor licence. We can thereafter assist you in bringing your HR systems in line with UK Visas and Immigration requirements as well as conducting mock inspections to expose and correct any potential weaknesses in your systems.

Tier 2 (General)
This category is the most common category for brining non-EEA migrants to the UK for employment. The Tier 2 (General) category replaced the old work permits scheme since the Points-based System was implemented. Any potential worker will need to meet the educational requirement of NQF level 6 or above along with English language and maintenance requirements. A minimum salary in line with the codes of practice will also be essential.

The Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
The Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) category is designed for those individuals that are exceptionally talented within their respected field and who wish to work in the UK. These individuals must be endorsed by one of the five ‘Designated Competent Bodies.’

Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer)
This category is for organisations that are multinational, this category is designed to transfer their existing employees from outside the EEA to the UK branch for training or to fill a specific vacancy. A visa under this category can be for a short term or a long term period.entrepreneurs.
