     You, the client, would play an active role and give the key instructions to ensure that the transaction proceeds as you intend;

     An accountant to ensure that the transaction is completed in the most efficient way and by using the most tax efficient vehicle;

     In commercial property transactions we would also involve a surveyor who will identify individual property features and help to identify key property considerations – be it structural, environmental, or regarding town planning provisions.

    Recently we have been very successful in negotiating a very positive outcome for a client in a property relocation matter. In delivering a smooth and successful transaction for the client we:

     Made sure that we understood the client’s specific needs. This is imperative and tends to be where many firms fall down because they think they know what the client wants to achieve, rather than asking the client and actually understanding the client’s needs;

     Helped the client to avoid unnecessary capital gains tax by referring them early to an accountant so that the transaction could be shaped in a certain way; and

     Helped the client to get the best possible relocation deal by having a professional surveyor negotiate specific fit out details, and key terms which added significant value.

     Pieced the whole deal together and ensured that every member of the team worked in harmony with their individual core skills.
