During recent years, the internet has helped facilitate the delivery of 'remote' or on-line conveyancing services and this is undoubtedly an attractive option for some. At Adams however, we strongly believe that our location and extensive local knowledge offer a number of real advantages to clients. As a result, it is our policy to remain fully accessible to all our conveyancing clients living and/or working in east London and the surrounding areas.

We are of course happy and many of our clients prefer - to rely primarily on telephone and email to communicate and progress the transaction. However, we also encourage our clients to visit our office, either in Whitechapel or in Canary Wharf/Docklands to meet the person or team managing their case. This offers a good opportunity to make personal contact, and to discuss the timetable and process in more detail, so that you feel fully informed. Operating from a convenient location also helps to ensure that the transaction can be completed more efficiently and in less time, as if necessary or preferred documents can be checked and signed in person rather than by post. It can also help to reduce costs as there is little risk that you will need to seek and pay for additional professional advice as can unexpectedly be the case with more remote services.

Before we begin work, we will provide you with an estimate of fees, as well as discussing the timetable to completion for your transaction. As it is our objective to ensure no nasty surprises, this estimate will include all predicted costs, including local searches and other third-party fees.
