    Transfer Of Equity Lease

    adams law

There are many reasons why you may wish to transfer equity in your property. However, this is particularly common following a marital or non-marital break-up, where it is necessary either to divide your jointly owned property or transfer equity.

There are a number of options when it comes to transferring equity. In some cases it may be more profitable to re-mortgage the property, in order to take advantage of a better rate of interest and this can be combined with the transfer of equity. The transaction is then referred to as a transfer and re-mortgage.

Whatever your reason for transferring equity in your property it is essential that you receive first-class advice from a source you can trust. Adams has extensive experience advising on the transfer of equity in residential property, and are here to help. If you would like further information including a quote please contact a member of our conveyancing team. Simply complete our enquiry form or call us on 020 7790 2000. We are happy to give you initial advice to help you understand the implications, the procedure and the best course of action, before deciding to go ahead.
